Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 – 12 hours fermentation, plus 1-hour refrigeration
Serves: 10 toddlers
To make your own yoghurt you will need an electric or thermos style yoghurt maker.
Mix ½ cup of the milk with the starter culture, stirring well to remove any lumps.
Add this starter mix to the rest of the milk, stir to mix thoroughly.
Pour into clean jar/s or container from yoghurt maker and then follow manufacturer’s instructions provided with a yoghurt maker.
Leave undisturbed for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
Once set, place in the fridge until cool.
Save 1/2 cup of your Yummy Yoghurt to use as the starter culture for the next batch.
